A "Good Poem", or i Was Lied to

A few months back, April or some other month starting with "a" that has passed this year, Lainers (one of 2 of the smart, talented, creative, funny, pretty, nice friends of mine) got part of a song stuck in my head to the degree that, during the math test, i had to write words to it. They said it was good, but i like to think they love me so much they would lie to protect my feelings or something. But now...i throw it to the bloody, fanged jaws of the Internet...or the 3 people who read it.
the world is black, the world is white, the world is all we need tonight
they all wait with baited breath for what they do not understand
a glass of wine, or something blue? all i need is up to you
sun and moon shine as one, the sky is all we need tonight
stars glow so merrily, go on for eternity
fifty-nine piano keys, one for you and one for me
we are both covered in dew, dawn is all we need tonight
grass wont let us touch the ground, metal floor cannot be found
you point out the Milky Way, twilight is all we need tonight
paper crane, a white rose. steel flowers i don't know
church bells toll, i need to know, are you all i need tonight?
seven chimes for a maid, as i see you drift away

...yeah...got a keyboard, so i (kinda half) wrote music for it. Maybe one day, when i learn how to play, i will post it.
